Care you can trust…
Arden House is located in a charming residential area in the heart of Bexhill-on-Sea.
The building is a grand detached house providing elegant accommodation for up to 35 elderly residents. Just a stone’s throw away from the promenade, shops and local amenities, it is also situated within walking distance of Bexhill train station and the famous De La Warr Pavilion.
We work hard to help residents achieve the very best quality of life. Care at Arden House is client led, catering not just for clients’ needs, but also supporting their hopes, aspirations and personal standards. We tailor our care services around personal requirements in order to create a safe and structured feeling of home.
Accommodation is of generous proportions, with some rooms benefitting from their own private conservatories. Many rooms towards the south-side of the house have sea views or look onto and over the bowling green. All rooms are ensuite, some equipped with a full bathroom or shower room.
Arden House is a non-smoking environment, though we are able to accommodate residents who smoke in our designated smoking area. The home is spread out over four floors, all of which are service by a passenger/stair lift. At the side of the building there is level access to both the house and garden, rendering the home fully accessible to wheelchair users. Guests and visitors are welcomed at any reasonable hour with refreshments available
Our spacious rooms are complimented by two warm, well used lounge areas, which lead to a garden view. The light and airy dining room is enlivened throughout the day and reflects the character of the building which captures the Bexhill grandeur of yesteryear. Level access, passenger lift and regular activities are integrated to provide our service user’s access to liberty and choice.
All rooms are equipped with an internal Nurse Call Bell system to ensure that resident’s needs are attended to and to provide that added sense of assurance 24 hours a day.
